TRAIL RIDE RIDERS... shown here are some of the 32 riders that braved the elements...the photos taken after the ride and under the cover came out too dark to reproduce, but here is a list of some of those brave and drenched souls: Jennifer Talavera, Sandy Cooper, the Robinson's (Devin, Kelly, Hailey), Valie and Jack Horne, JoAnn Stark, Claire Felton Terry Foster, Marilee Lowe, Stan Bailey, Bill Bates, Greg & Shawn Ufers, Kimberly Clark, Jennifer Youngren, Tracy Sahagun and many more who crowded under the shelter and had hot coffee, steak, chicken, chili, desserts, and all sorts of good things to eat.

Pam Herron does gate duty while the  brave 32 head out on the trail, led by Ward Brookshier and his good-looking sidekick.

Angela Dase thinks this is much more fun than working...

Even the youth got in to the trail riding spirit...they (with riding helmets and all) went out dry and came back wet but happy.

With a smile and a wave Ruth and Jim McVeigh are ready to go. She and Jim really support this annual event and not even the rain daunted their spirit... (except Ruth's hair was a little "soggy and saggy" at the end of the ride...oops!)

For those who wondered where Harry Blackburn went, they could have found him at the trail ride! What a pleasant surprise to see him and he looked great on his gorgeous horse - he survived the wet weather also.

Joining the group was some neighboring Clydesdales masquerading as the new "full-bodied Arabian-in-disguise trail horse" - a sensation to say the least!

And the rains came... the friendly furniture mover at her best (Brigitte Garrett - and soaked to boot!)

Ron Anderson says it looks like rain, smells like rain, but Ward promised me no rain if I showed up... so here I am.

Three wet riders and a dog who says I'm heading for my dog house where it's dry and warm - my master (trail boss) said it wouldn't' rain so I left my rain gear at home!

Like a rider out of the old west!  I came prepared but my horse is the one who forgot his rain gear!

Sloshing up the driveway it appears, by the smiles on these faces, that none seemed to mind the rain and had a good time.

Jim (no rain gear) McVeigh escorts Margaret (poncho) Haverstock back after a pleasant ride in the rain...

Little Keri Garrett says that  next year SHE'S going to go on the ride with her Mom - none of this sittin' around for me....
